Brown & Ivory Fly Fishing Flies Pillow
If you know somebody that loves fly fishing, then this would be a great gift for them!
The material on the front left and right is a nice leather. The brown checked fabric on the back has a nice texture and soft feel.
This embroidery design is based artwork from an old book, The Book of the Salmon, by Ephemera — published in London in 1850. This book is now in the public domain.
Ephemera was the pseudonym for Edward Fitzgibbon. He was assisted by Andrew Young (Manager of the Duke of Sutherland's Salmon-Fisheries).
This book has a variety of beautiful graphics. We plan on make other embroidery designs using them as inspirations.
Each of the 3 flies has a name, from top to bottom: The Goldfinch, Britannia, Erin Go Gragh.
You can see that the 3 embroidery designs match the originals very closely.
While this item is a pillow, this design would be a great on a sweatshirt. If you could envision yourself wearing this design on a sweatshirt, please request a custom order. Our suppliers have hoodies, and hoodless designs, in all the typical sizes, in all the typical colors.
