Baby Giraffe Pillow
This is a one-of-a-kind custom accent pillow. The central figure is a very cute baby giraffe. The pillow size is approximately 12″ x 16″ x 4″. The tan fabric in the center panel is very soft. The side panels and back are a realistic brown and tan faux giraffe fabric. Inside, there is a new, soft, high quality pillow insert.
The individual patches of thread in the design have an thread angle that varies. This creates a wonderful optical effect where the patches appear to have a different thread color even though it is the same thread. This effect can be seen in the second photo. The patches on the giraffe's head appear to be darker. They are not. The only difference is the light is reflecting off of these patches differently.
The embroidered design is a custom Embroiderglyph's design with a relatively high stitch count. Our daughter Alison created the design. John digitized & Beth created the pillow design. Beth uses great computerized embroidery and sewing machines for the bulk of the work, then hand sews the final side shut.
